Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, has commended former Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain, Vincent Enyeama, for the encouragement and mentorship he received from the former Losc Lille of France goalkeeper. Chelsea defeated Real Madrid to set up an all-English Champions League final against Manchester City on 29 May. After a 1-1 draw in Spain, Timo Werner, who earlier had a goal disallowed for offside, headed Chelsea ahead after Kai Havertz's chip rebounded off the bar. Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur Coach, Jose Mourinho has been appointed Roma manager from the start of the 2021-22 season. The Portuguese manager will replace Paulo Fonseca, who Roma announced earlier on Tuesday would leave the club at the end of the current campaign. Mourinho was sacked as Tottenham boss on 19 April and had said he would "wait to be back in football" following his dismissal. He has signed a three-year-deal with Roma, who are seventh in Serie A. Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Tottenham. The news was confirmed by Telegraph journalist, John Percy, on Monday morning. Mourinho has lost his job just six days before Tottenham compete in the Carabao Cup final against Man City.
