Armed men suspected to be Fulani militias have reportedly killed 36 residents of Shikaan Mbagena Kpav community in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. Unknown gunmen at about 2 am Friday morning allegedly attacked Umutu Police Divisional Headquarters in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Dikko, has said that Fulani herdsmen entering the state must get clearance from the police command of the state. No fewer than 160 people were feared killed while others went missing after a ferry carrying over 160 passengers sank in the River Niger. Gunmen on Tuesday attacked Iwollo Oghe Police Station in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, killing four officers.
