Fourteen students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State were on Saturday released by their captors weeks after their abduction. ChannelsTV reports that the students were released along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway. The chairman of the Parents Forum, Markus Zarmai, and few others were expected to receive the students at the drop-off location, the TV station reported. However, parents of the abducted students said that they paid a N180m ransom without the aid of the government in addition to providing eight new motorcycles to the kidnappers before they agreed to release their children. NECO releases 2020 SSCE results, says 6,465 candidates cheated

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for external candidates. This was announced on Thursday by the Registrar of the Council, Professor Godswill Obioma.
