Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has cleared speculations about his rumoured senatorial ambition as he formally sought the blessings of his kindmen to contest the Benue North-West senatorial seat. A former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said he will dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) this month. Mr Kwankwaso stated this to BBC Hausa Service.
