The composition of the convention committee has sparked a row in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). State chairmen, led by Forum of State Chairmen leader Ali Buke Dalori, were yesterday at the party’s national secretariat to protest the non-inclusion of lists submitted by state chapters. Dalori is chairman of the Borno State chapter. INEC declares APC candidate winner of Akure North and South Federal Constituency by-election The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Mr Mayokun Lawson Alade of the All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner of Akure North and South federal constituency by-election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Jude Ogbeche Ngaji of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the bye-election for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency by-election. The Returning Officer, Dr. Eno John Eno who declared the result in Ogoja on Sunday morning said Mr Ngaji won the election with 22, 778 votes. PDP defeats APC To Win Cross River Assembly Seat The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Effiom Ekeng Edet of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the bye-election for Akpabuyo Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly.
