Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has slammed Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, following comments made by the latter on the governor for faulting approaches to ongoing war against insecurity in the country. The final list of Presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates for the 2023 general election will be released on September 20, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed. The Commission explained that the publication of the list of candidates for the national election is in compliance with section 32(1) of the Electoral Act 2022.
