Aishatu Binani asks court to recognise her as Adamawa governor-elect

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa state, Senator Aishatu Binani has asked the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to forthwith recognise her as the governor-elect of Adamawa. Ahead of the May 29, 2023 change of government in Abia state, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has commenced an investigation into the utilization of local government funds by state government officials.
