Police raises alarm over gathering of IPOB secessionist in Edo

The Deputy Inspector General of Police, in charge of Operation Restore Peace in the South-South region, DIG Moses Jitoboh, on Wednesday, raised the alarmed over the gathering of some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Edo State with the intent of spreading secessionist messages across the state. Palpable fear have enveloped Lamba village, Asa local government area of Kwara state as gunmen killed Fulani head, Alhaji Abdullahi Hardo Buruku in the early hours of Wednesday. No fewer than 60 residents of Izzi, Ekile Ward of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State were killed by suspected Fulani Herdsmen during the weekend. Governor Ortom’s Deputy, Engr.
