Gunmen kidnapped a businessman, Emmanuel Eze, in Kore town in Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday. Thirteen persons, including women and children, have been killed in a boat mishap that occurred in Shagari Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Thursday. The victims were said to be traveling from Doruwa to Ginga when the boat capsized. Gunmen have hijacked a school bus at Oba Ile Estate, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. Although no pupil was on board, the attackers were said to have whisked away an official of the school who was on her way to pick up pupils from their homes on Thursday morning. No fewer than 60 residents of Izzi, Ekile Ward of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State were killed by suspected Fulani Herdsmen during the weekend. Governor Ortom’s Deputy, Engr.
