Gunmen have razed the country home of Imo Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba in Oru East Local Government Area.
The incident, which occurred around, 1 am on Sunday destroyed all property in the Commissioner’s residence.
According to sources, the gunmen broke down his gate and set the house on fire without any hindrance.
Last week, THE WHISPERER reported how unknown gunmen attacked the country home of Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba, at Amangwu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area.
It was alleged that the gunmen invaded Amangwu on Monday evening, setting ablaze his palatial home, burnt all his cars and looted some valuables.
The gunmen equally attacked his mother’s house.
Chief Olugu Ugba, who is popularly known as Ishi Bu Mba is the Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Special Duties.
Confirming the incident on a WhatsApp group monitored by THE WHISPERER, Chief Ugba alleged that his home was attacked by the proscribed members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
He stated that the group accused him of installing CCTV cameras around Amangwu community to monitor the activities of the group.
