The Police Command in Niger says 11 people died in an auto crash that occurred at Wuya Village in the Lemu Local Government Area of the state. The Commissioner of Police in the state, Adamu Usman, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Minna that other people sustained injuries when the accident occurred on June 5. Police in Kebbi State said 66 people were killed by bandits in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. It was black Friday in Awka, Anambra State as about eight children hawking wares at Kwata flyover junction in Awka, Anambra State were killed by a lorry carrying cows. Gunmen kidnapped a businessman, Emmanuel Eze, in Kore town in Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday. Thirteen persons, including women and children, have been killed in a boat mishap that occurred in Shagari Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Thursday. The victims were said to be traveling from Doruwa to Ginga when the boat capsized. Gunmen have hijacked a school bus at Oba Ile Estate, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
