At least five gunmen were killed by the police in a foiled attack on Imo state command. Bala Elkana, police spokesperson in Imo, confirmed the incident to TheCable. He said the attackers arrived at the police command in a white Hummer bus in the early hours of Sunday. The Police Command in Niger says 11 people died in an auto crash that occurred at Wuya Village in the Lemu Local Government Area of the state. It was black Friday in Awka, Anambra State as about eight children hawking wares at Kwata flyover junction in Awka, Anambra State were killed by a lorry carrying cows. Gunmen kidnapped a businessman, Emmanuel Eze, in Kore town in Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday.
