ASUU strike: Ondo students block Akure/Ilesa road (Photos)

Students of Ondo State origin under the aegis of the National Association of Ondo State Students have blocked the Akure/Ilesha road, protesting against the failure of the federal government to meet the demands of the striking lecturers. The aggrieved students who were joined by members of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) barricaded the road, preventing vehicular movement. The students lamented the failure of the federal government to meet the demands of the striking lecturers. Many travelers were hooked in the traffic jam occasioned by the protest. See Images Below

The Federal Ministry of Finance building in the Central Area of Abuja is on fire. Fire fighters have arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Similarly on February 10, the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) was burnt. The fire reportedly started around 11pm on the precious night, badly affecting the building’s third floor.
