The Federal Government has banned students in Senior Secondary School one and two from taking from applying for and taking external West African Senior School Certificate Examination, the National Examination Council, and National Business and Technical Examinations Board. Abass Olajire, a professor of industrial and environmental chemistry at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo state, is dead. He is said to have collapsed on Friday, while observing Juma’at prayer at the Ansarul Deen mosque in Ogbomoso. President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to make a key announcement on the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme on Tuesday. The programme aims to place 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates (under the age of 30) into jobs in private and public sector organizations around the country.
