The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, on Monday released the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, results for Private Candidates 2021- Second Series. WAEC’s Head of National Office, Patrick Areghan, disclosed this during a press conference at the council’s office in Yaba, Lagos. Giving a breakdown of the results, Areghan said that of the 51,444 that wrote the examination, 25,008 representing 48.61 percent obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. The Chairman, Mangal Group Dahiru Mangal, has donated N1billion to Yobe State in support of its programs towards revitalizing the education sector in the state. Mr Mangal made the donation on Thursday during the Yobe State Government Education Appeal Fund Raising Event in Abuja.
