In his maiden address to the community, entitled “Ohafia: On Way to Greatness Again”, the Interim President General, Chief Fab Uche, expressed his appreciation to Ohafia stakeholders and opinion leaders drawn from across the globe, as well as to all those who have supported this noble cause.

He noted that his emergence was mostly due to the non-performance and lack of foresight of the leadership of the past administration of the Union, and affirmed his commitment to upholding and building upon the enviable legacy that the forefathers have left for the community.

The role of a leader, he said, is not one to be taken lightly. It is a responsibility that requires vision, empathy, and unwavering dedication, and he pledged to give his best to this position and to serve with integrity and transparency.

According to him, “Our team is not merely a collection of individuals; it is a community bound by a shared purpose and a common goal. Together, we have the power to drive change, inspire others, and make a lasting impact.

“I believe in the strength of collaboration and open communication. I encourage every member of our team to actively contribute ideas, feedback, and insights.

“It is through our collective support that we will achieve our objectives and overcome challenges.

“As we move forward, let us embrace the journey with a shared vision and a commitment to our mission. I am eager to work alongside each of you, harnessing our collective talents, and navigating the path to success.

“In no distant time, we shall publish our ideal road map that will lead to elections and birth a new leadership for OIU in six months’ time.

“Our aim is to carry everybody along on the same page to achieve greater Ohafia consciousness and awareness,” Uche emphasised.
