According to the Times Higher Education, University of Cross River State ( Nigeria) is the number one in the continent with 85.3 teaching quality index.
Benson Idahosa University (Nigeria) with 84.9 teaching quality index is the second-best institution, followed by Rongo University (Kenya) at 84.2.
Top 10 African universities in Sub-Saharan Africa with the best teaching skills
Completing the top ten are Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (Ghana), Ardhi University (Tanzania), Umuru Musa Yar’Adua University (Nigeria), Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, ISBAT University (Uganda), Ashesi University (Ghana), and the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa).
