Dozens of single ladies made a stunning entrance at the Hallelujah Challenge event, led by Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, at Eko Hotel and Suites.
They arrived dressed in wedding gowns, creating the illusion of a massive wedding celebration.
The gospel minister had encouraged attendees to “dress like your miracle,” leading to an array of unique outfits. It wasn’t just single ladies; students wore graduation gowns, and women trying to conceive appeared with artificial baby bumps or baby dolls to symbolize their faith.
The Hallelujah Challenge, which originally started in 2017 as an Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube praise and worship movement, has grown into an annual festival, accompanied by extraordinary testimonies.
This year’s 20-day event began on October 3, 2023, featuring special guests like Pastor Jerry Eze, Pastor Joshua Selman, Minister Dunsin Oyekan, and more. Hundreds of thousands of online viewers joined the live streams on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Nathaniel Bassey, following the theme from Acts 16:25-26, hosted the festival concert at Eko Hotel and Suites on October 22, promising a night of prayer, singing, and dancing to encounter God’s presence.
