Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, the governoship candidate of the Action People’s Party (APP) in Abia State has named Ukoha Aladdin Igwe, a grassroot politician, as his special assistant on political matters.
Igwe was officially appointed on Friday evening.
He is a native of Okagwe in Ohafia Local Government Area.
He served as a Legislative Aide in the National Assembly between 2007-2010 and as a Personal Assistant to the Governor on Protocol and Head of Advance Protocol Team (2011-2015).
He was appointed as Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Protocol (2016-2019) and
Senior special Assistant Grassroots Mobilization in 2020.
Igwe is a Christian with four children.
