Another batch of students who were offered foreign scholarships by the Senator representing Abia North senatorial district, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to study Medicine and Surgery have left Nigeria.
The beneficiaries would study at Venezuela’s prestigious University, Latinoamerican Medicine School, Escuela.
According to a statement signed by the media office of the Chief Whip of the Senate, the
scholarship was extended to the students under the auspices of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation.
The statement named Favour Chimeremeze Chukwu, Ikenna Marvellous Kanu-Ubah, Chika Onwuka Mark and Prince Kingseed Chiziterem as beneficiaries.
“As usual they were selected purely on merit based on their extraordinary performance in their WAEC,” part of the statement read.
