Group Commends Patrick Eholor For Wading Into Uniben SUG Crisis
A youth group under the aegis of Nigeria Students and Youth Association (NISAYA), on Friday, 16th of April, commended Social Crusader and Global President of One Love Foundation, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor for wading into the crisis surrounding the suspension of the Students Union Government of University of Benin.
The group in a statement signed by its spokesman, Comrade Osemudiamen Ogbidi, thanked Chief Eholor for speaking up as a father figure; and equally appreciated the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Lillian Salami for restoring and allowing the independence of the union to function effectively.
“We applaud your patriotism and your fatherly intervention on behalf of the youths and students, as this timely and pragmatic intervention has facilitated the restoration of the union.
“The statement urging the VC to allow the union function effectively was a catalyst of even greater thing to come.We appreciate you as the voice of the masses and the common man. We urge you not to relent in your service to God and humanity.
“It is a testament of your love for Edo state and things that concerns her. We are proud of you. We equally commend the VC, Prof. Salami for giving room for peace and it shows her love and willingness to move the institution forward.” He said.
