Popular Nigerian Crusader, Chief Patrick Eholor has cautioned former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar not to use Igbos and Igbo Presidency to score cheap political goals ahead of 2023 elections.

Eholor, who is the Global President of One Love Foundation stated this in a media chat in Abuja.

He said the youths were more equipped to determine who governs them rather than those who failed the nation in leadership position.

He said “Nigerians are wiser and can longer be deceived by looters and old politicians. You can see that with the current protest by the youths who are frustrated with the political class and their quest to loot their future.

“These people will determine who governs them from now on. Atiku cannot use the Igbos to rule this nation. He has the youths to contend with this time around. The people shall decide if it’s a Nigeria President of Igbo extraction. Atiku cannot claim to love the Igbos more than others after all, he was Vice Presidentfor 8 years and he didn’t contribute anything to the socioeconomic growth of the region.

“Under him as Vice President, businesses of reputable Igbo men were shut down; Ibeto cement, Savannah bank, Slok airline and others were unceremoniously closed down. It’s wrong for him to come now and claim to love the Igbos. Such gimmicks won’t work in 2023.”

The Social Crusader also query the inability of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to defend the masses even as a lawyer in the midst of extral judicial killings, extortion and brutality of the now disbanded SARS against the youths. He said the late response of the Vice President in critical national issues like restructuring and policing were unacceptable.

On the issue of police brutality, Eholor, urged the federal government to fund the police properly to compete with it counterparts in Europe. He advised the federal government to increase the salaries and allowances of the officers.
