Passengers Strangle Medical Doctor-Turned Uber Driver, Steal Car In Lagos A 27-year-old medical doctor, Morenikeji Oluwaniyi, has been strangled to death by a four-man gang in the Abule Egba area of Lagos State. Oluwaniyi was said to have converted his Toyota Corolla to an Uber ride to have extra cash at hand when he resumes his new medical job. It was gathered that one of the hoodlums, identified only as Ahmed, requested to be conveyed to Ikeja around 10pm on Sunday and later joined by three other members of the gang. COVID-19: Nigeria Records 201 New Cases as Lagos and Rivers records 77 and 37 cases respectively

Nigeria recorded 201 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday, 30th September, taking the total infections to 58,848. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said a total of 50,358 infected people have recovered, while the country has recorded 1,112 total deaths.
