Jubilation in Kuje as Kalu visits correctional centre, splashes millions on some projects
The Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Saturday paid an unscheduled visit to the Kuje correctional centre, Abuja. Dr Kalu, a former governor of Abia state and 2023 Presidential hopeful, arrived the correctional centre at about 1pm, inspected some ongoing projects in the centre such as the lightening projects which is extended to both mosques and churches in the premises worth millions of naira.
