BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu Sentenced To Life Imprisonment A Federal High Court in Abuja has handed life sentence to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Justice James Omotosho delivered the judgement after convicting Kanu on all seven counts of terrorism offences. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for counts 1, 4, 5 and 6, instead of death sentence. The High Court in Abuja, had convicted him of the terrorism charges brought against him by the Department of State Services (DSS). Five soldiers killed as soldiers, IPOB clash in Rivers

About five soldiers and four members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra have been feared dead after a clash in Oyigbo and other parts of Rivers State.
