Leaked Letter: Gov Bala Mohammed Threatens To Quit Atiku’s Campaign

The Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has threatened to withdraw from the presidential campaign council of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, over “undeserved hostile treatment” by the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, and his cohorts in the state. Mr Mohammed issued the threat in a protest letter dated November 3 and addressed to the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu. 2023 River Guber: Court dismisses suit against Wike’s anointed candidate Fubara

A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, on Friday, dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify the governorship candidate of PDP, Siminalaye Fubara, believed to be the anointed candidate of Governor Nyesom Wike. An aspirant of the PDP, Chief Morgan West, had challenged Fubara’s candidacy. Morgan alleged that Fubara was not a member of the party and did not have a valid PDP membership card, among other issues. However, the presiding judge, Justice Adamu T.
