The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and the Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday, meet in Akwa. The duo met at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka during the Thanksgiving mass for Most Rev. Paulinus C. Ezeokafor in celebration of his 70th birthday. Group of 5 governors of the People’s Democratic Party led by Rivers governor, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday evening arrived Umuahia to flag off the Abia PDP governorship campaign slated for today ahead of the 2023 general elections. The All Progressives Congress, APC, has kicked against the deployment of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS and the INEC Results Viewing Portal, IReV, claiming that Nigeria is not yet ready for such technology. Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the APC, made this claim on Wednesday while speaking to a delegation from the Commonwealth Election Observation Mission.
