Rochas Okorocha, a former governor of Imo state, says the country needs a leader that will treat citizens like family. Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has declared National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is well and healthy. Sanwo-Olu spoke on the sidelines after inaugurating 102 compactor trucks and 100 double dino bins acquired by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA). Senator Joy Emordi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Emordi joined the ruling party in Abuja on Wednesday. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited his predecessor Bola Tinubu in London on Tuesday. Tinubu, a leading political figure in Nigeria, is the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader. There were speculations that he passed away abroad after he was “hurriedly flown out”. Seven members of the National Officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resigned from office over what they described as poor leadership. There was palpable tension at the Wadata House, National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party following the resignation of seven members of the party’s National Working Committee.
