The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has appealed to the governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to consider rebuilding the dilapidated Umuahia -Uzuakoli -Akara-Alayi-Igbere- Item-Abiriba-Ohafia road. According to the former Abia governor, the road is not a federal government road as insinuated by many, stating that he built and maintained the road when he was governor.
