Ahead of 2023 general elections, a Civil Society Organisation, CSO, One Love Foundation, Thursday, called for inclusion of independent candidacy in the electoral bill by the Nigerian Senate. The President of the group, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor in a letter addressed to the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, observed that lack of internal democracy among the political parties during the process of nominating candidates was a bad omen for the nation's democracy.
