Anti corruption group, Human and Society Development Agenda (HSDA), has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari  to probe allegations of bribery and corruption against Economic and Financial  Crimes Commission ( EFCC) lawyers; Rotimi Jacobs , Rotimi Oyedepo and Wahab Shittu,  counsel to   Ibrahim Magu,  suspended Chairman of the EFCC. The kidnapped chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Phillip Shekwo, has been found dead. This was confirmed to Channels Television by the Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe, on Sunday The Police boss said the body of Shekwo was found not far from his house in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital, and has been evacuated to the Dalhatu Araf specialist hospital. Shekwo was earlier kidnapped in the late hours of Saturday at his residence in Lafia.

Nine Police Officers who were kidnapped on November 8 2020 between Kankara town and Sheme in Katsina State have been rescued. In a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer Frank Mba, the Police officers were traveling in a night commercial bus when they came under attack by suspected bandits, who were heavily armed and dressed in military camouflage. The statement also explained that, the officers, all Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), were on their way to Gusau in Zamfara State from Maiduguri at the time of the kidnap incident.
