Ibrahim Attahiru: Army Chief’s Plane Crash Was Caused By Bad Weather—Defence Headquarters

The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, has stated that the crash of the Nigerian Air Force jet which killed the Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Attahiru Ibrahim, and 10 other officers was due to bad weather. The DHQ in a release on Friday night added that the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Lucky Irabor, has, however, ordered investigation into the incident. The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru has been killed in a plane crash in Kaduna. THE WHISPERER learnt that the ill-fated aircraft crashed at the airport’s runway around 6pm.
