The Federal High Court, Abuja, has fixed July 2 to adopt all processes filed by parties in a suit by former Abia Governor Orji Uzor Kalu, seeking to stop his retrial. Troops of the Nigerian Army along the Mokwa-Jebba Road have arrested a fleeing bandit during a stop and search operation along the road. He was said to be heading to Ogbomoso in Oyo State.
