
Tension as Imo speaker, others narrowly escape death as unknown gunmen invade Assembly chamber
The speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Paul Emeziem, alongside some members of the House have narrowly escaped being shot by unknown gunmen during plenary. THE WHISPERER earlier reported that sporadic shootings occurred in the State Assembly chamber. According to a report by Daily Post, the sporadic shooting was triggered by the suspension of six members including the Minority Leader, Anyadike Nwosu, who is of PDP extraction.
