A United States' Court has issued a warrant of arrest for Nigeria’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, over his role in serial internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, more commonly Hushpuppi’s multi-million naira fraud probe. Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation to track down Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud. Nigeria’s super cop, DCP Abba Kyari has denied collecting money from Hushpuppi to arrest his partner, Kelly Chibuzor Vincent. He however confirmed that the arrest was made on Hushpuppi’s call. In a post on his verified facebook page, Mr Kyari stated that Hushpuppi had called his office in Abuja alleging threat to his life by one Chibuzo Vincent (Hushpuppi’s accomplice) about two years ago. Recall it was earlier reported that the infamous fraudster had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to engage in money laundering, facing up to 20 years in jail. A former Director-General with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Engr Fidelis Onyeyiri, is dead. The ex-NCAA boss, who was born on July 29, 1948, died on Sunday, July 25, 2021. Onyeyiri, a native of Imo State, died four days to his 73rd birthday. He was NCAA director-general from 2003 to 2005. NCAA Spokesman, Sam Adurogboye, confirmed the death of the ex-DG on Tuesday and prayed for God to console the family of the deceased. A militant group, Niger Delta Revolutionary Crusaders (NDRC), has threatened to resume attacks on oil installations in the region. NDRC said it would resume attacks on oil installations due to the three per cent allocated to host communities in the recently passed Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) by the National Assembly.
