Many passengers injured as United Airlines flight makes emergency return to Lagos airport
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) rescue team safely deboarded 256 passengers from a US-bound United Airlines plane which made emergency air return to Lagos on Friday. Confirming the air return, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, FAAN, Obiageli Orah, said all passengers and crew disembarked safely. She, however, said that four passengers and two crew members sustained serious injuries while 27 passengers and five crew members had minor injuries.
