Imo lawmakers have reinstated Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Iwuanyanwu was impeached by 18 out of the 27 lawmakers last Tuesday. The former Speaker Paul Emeziem, who presided over the plenary, okayed the impeachment of Iwuanyanwu without reading the content of the resolution. Iwuanyanwu was reinstated today following the impeachment of Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem. Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has secured the highest votes in Aguata Local Government Area. The deputy governor of Anambra state, Dr. Nkem Okeke, has lost his polling unit to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
