Police in Anambra have confirmed Sunday night’s attack on Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South Senatorial District by unidentified gunmen. An unspecified number of police operatives have been killed at Enugwu-Ukwu community in Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra State, as unidentified gunmen attacked the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared a sit-at-home across the Southeast on Tuesday next week. IPOB tagged the sit-at-home, a day of civil action across the Southeast. The group declared the order ahead of the Appeal Court hearing of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and President Muhammadu Buhari’s planned visit to the Southeast.
