The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer in the Abia State governorship election, Prof. Nnenna Otti, has revealed that she was offered financial incentives to manipulate the election results. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos on Tuesday ordered that the transport fare for BRT buses in the state be reverted to 100 per cent on Saturday. Mr Sanwo-Olu made the announcement in a statement issued on Tuesday. He said the directive will take effect on Saturday, April 1, thereby passengers will be paying 100 per cent bus charges. Former Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha has withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s governorship primary in the South-East state.
