Former Zamfara State governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari has accused senators of betraying him over the Senate Presidency seat. The All Progressives Congress, APC, had anointed Godswill Akpabio from Akwa Ibom for the Senate Presidency. On Tuesday, Akpabio emerged as the Senate President during the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly. While Akpabio polled 63 votes to emerge winner, Yari got 46 votes.
