A former governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS) after grilling him for days. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has admitted the former Head of the Rapid Response Team, Abba Kyari, to a N50 million bail in a charge filed against him and two others by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) has blamed some technical challenges for the delay in the payment of June salaries to some government workers.
