Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd), a former military spokesperson, is dead. The former Director, Defence Media Operations reportedly died on Saturday morning after complaining of a cold and was rushed to a private hospital. Reacting to the death, Garba Shehu, former spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari, prayed that Onyeuko rest in peace. “Just read the shocking news that we have lost our friend, the former military spokesperson, Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd). “May the Almighty grant fortitude to the family to bear the loss. President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs Mojoyinoluwa Dekalu-Thomas as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company for a term of four years. Aguri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Friday. The development comes on the heels of the expiration of the tenure of Mr Adebayo Fagbemi on May 8, 2023. The statement added that Tinubu also approved the appointment of Mr Dimla Nchinney to serve in NELMCO as the substantive Executive Director, Liability Management.
