The National Election Petition Tribunal in Umuahia has dismissed the petition filed against the declaration of Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa as winner of the February 25 Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency election for lack of merit and being incompetent. The petitioner, Ifeanyi Uchendu of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), had approached the court to challenge Mr Osonwa’s victory.
