A polling unit with only 48 accredited voters in Ward 4, Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, recorded a total of 1078 cast votes, according to the result-viewing portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Samuel Anyanwu, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), scored the highest votes in the polling unit of Rochas Okorocha, a former governor of the state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended elections in nine wards at Ogori/Magongo in Kogi State where irregularities were said to have been discovered. INEC disclosed this is a statement on its X handle by a National Commissioner and Member Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Haruna. The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Imo State, Athan Achonu, has won his polling unit by a wide margin. The polling unit is located at Umunumo community in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. At the polling unit, Mr Achonu polled 197 votes, while the candidate of the APC, Hope Uzodinma, who is the incumbent governor, polled 16 votes. Three voided votes were recorded. The governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Dino Melaye, has been declared the winner of his polling unit. Melaye garnered 210 votes to defeat the All Congress candidate (APC), Ahmed Ododo, who pulled 22 votes while Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came a distant third with 7 votes. The National Rescue Movement, People’s Redemption Party, African Democratic Party, 001 and Social Democratic Party got 001, 002, 001 and 001 respectively.
