Kano Hisbah Confiscates 5,760 Cartons Of Beer The Kano State Hisbah Board says it has confiscated two vehicles loaded with 5,760 cartons of assorted beer on the Kano-Madobi road. This was contained in a statement issued by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Lawan Ibrahim-Fagge, in Kano on Wednesday. Suspected hoodlums have set ablaze a truck carrying spare parts in Nsukka, Enugu state. The vehicle, which was conveying spare parts from Nnewi in Anambra to Kabba in Kogi, was said to have been burnt at Eluagu, Obupka, in Nsukka LGA, around 6:35am. Gunmen have kidnapped the younger sister of the Deputy Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki. The victim, identified as Asma’u Dalhatu, was kidnapped in the early hours of Sunday. The gunmen took her away after they attacked Tafoki village in Faskari Local Government Council of the State. A 17-year-old girl has narrated how her father raped her several times and promised to take her on a trip to Malaysia. The victim told the police that her father lured her to a hotel in September 2020. There, she stated, the father had sexual intercourse with her, promising to take her to Malaysia.
