Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, has announced the burial arrangement for his daughter, Kosisochukwu Nkem-Owoh. According to her burial poster online, Kosisochukwu, 24, died on June 28, 2023, after battling liver cancer. The burial arrangement for Kosisochukwu as announced by the family on Friday shows that she will be buried on August 24. It reads: "The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State regrets to announce the death of our daughter. Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has lost his mother. Wizkid's mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died at around 1.30 am, Friday. Confirming the incident to The PUNCH, Sunday Are, Wizkid's longtime manager said Mrs Balogun died in the early hours of Friday. "Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am," Sunday Are said. A Lagos-based socialite and beautician, Farida Sobowale, CEO of House of Phreedah Bodycare and Spa, was rescued by Good Samarithans after attempting to take her own life by jumping into the Lagoon in Lagos on Thursday.
