APC Collapses In Anambra As Leading Governorship Aspirant Decamps To ADC

The leader of AFAMATION MOVEMENT, Hon Afam Ezenwafor has just defected to ADC where he declared to contest for the Anambra state November 6 governorship election.

In a message sent to AIF Media, AFAMATION said, ‘Today, I left APC to pursue my Governorship ambition in another platform. I joined African Democratic Congress , ADC and have declared for Governorship in ward, Aguata LGA and Anambra South.”

Hon Afam Ezenwafor contested for Anambra state House of Assembly, Agauta I state constituency in 2019. It is on record that among all those that contested for either state house of assembly or house of Reps on the platform of APC, Afam Ezenwafor scored the highest number of votes in Anambra state in 2019.

He was later nominated as the chairman of southeast APC 2019 House of Assembly Candidates. He led the group to negotiate for 2023 igbo presidency and appealed to other zones to support the project.

If APC leaders had protected his votes in 2019, AFAMATION was heading to victory before riggers hijacked the process.

Hon Ezenwafor is a young vibrant leader who has used his AFAMATION MOVEMENT to help the less privileged. Last year he built a house for a widow and has done so many selflessness services to the poor.

“The primary essence of government is to do for the people what they cannot do for themselves. This can only be achieved through the instrumentality of good governance, which is the major gap that I have identified in the leadership of our clime.” Hon Ezenwafor stated.

My decision to vie for the governorship of Anambra State is informed by the dire need to provide our people with good governance.

He is now in ADC and has declared for November 6 governorship election on its platform. We wish him well and congratulate his courage.
