ABIA NORTH: Senator Orji Kalu Mourns Udumaeze Of Ohafia, Prof. E.U. L. Imaga, Ata 1 Of Uturu, Eze Okafor

Former Abia State Governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has condoled with the people of Ohafia Udumaeze, on the passing of the revered traditional ruler, His Royal Paramountcy, Prof. E.U.L Imaga, the Udumaeze of Ohafia and Chairman Ohafia Council of Nde Ezie Ogo.

Kalu said the death of the traditional ruler is a painful loss, describing the late Ezie Ogo as peace-loving and cerebral leader.

“The Udumaeze was in a class of his own. He was highly respected and admired for his deep insights, wisdom, and sophistication. He had a masterful way of handling issues. He was very knowledgeable and wise.

“May Almighty God grant the family of His Royal Paramountcy the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Senator Kalu prayed.

He asked the good people of Ohafia to take solace in the legacy of peace and fellowship left behind by the late traditional ruler.

Similarly, Senator Kalu also commiserated with the family of Eze Linus Okafor, the Ata 1 of Uturu, over the death of the traditional ruler.

Kalu, who is the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, in a statement on Tuesday, also condoled with the people of Okamba and Uturu in general over the death of the traditional ruler of Umuratta Autonomous community in Uturu, Abia State, noting that the late traditional ruler served with humility and wisdom.

“On behalf of the people of Abia North Senatorial District, I wish to express my condolences to the good people of Okamba and Uturu in general over the death of their traditional ruler, HRH Eze Linus Okafor, the Ata 1 of Uturu.

“HRH Eze Okafor was a humble man who served his people with love and wisdom.”

While praying for the peaceful repose of his soul, Senator Kalu, who is the Chairman of Senate Committee on Privatization, prayed God to grant the immediate family and the good people of Okamba the fortitude to bear the loss.
