Former Chairman of Aba Local Government Area, Alex Ikwechegh has formally joined the Labour Party days after announcing his exit from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
He is expected to contest the House of Representatives primary for Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency on the platform of his new party.
The Igbere born philanthropist is decamping alongside other heavyweight politicians from the state including a former Managing Director of Diamond Bank, Dr Alex Otti, Ibe Okwara Osonwa, Ginger Onwusibe among others.
