There is palpable tension at Buhari House, the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the Caretaker Committee continues its preparation for the inauguration of state chapters across the country.
Stern-looking policeman are mounting barricades at the two entrances to the Blantyre Street, Wuse 2 location of the APC’s national secretariat, screening human and vehicular movements.
The interim national leadership of the APC that would conduct the formal inauguration of substantive officers at state chapters are yet to arrive.
