A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Coordinator of PDP-COALITION, Chief Emeka Kalu has revealed his interest in the National Publicity Secretary position of the party.
Kalu also stated that his aspiration would depend on two conditions, which will include if the position is zoned to the South East and his ability to muster the stakeholders of the party.
Speaking to THE WHISPERER on Friday night, Kalu revealed that he is more prepared to serve in the office of PDP National Publicity Secretary because he has garnered a decade of cumulative experience in the media sector.
While describing his achievements as the National Coordinator of PDP-COALITION as no mean feat, he expressed high hopes that the PDP would come out stronger after the national convention.
According to the former governorship aspirant in Abia state, the position of the National Publicity Secretary of PDP is such a sensitive position that only capacity, capability and integrity that mattered.
He added that his records stood for him because he had served as the Director of Media & Publicity of PDP Youth Ambassadors before becoming the National Coordinator of PDP-Coalition where he has been a frontline advocate of the party on social media as well as various programmes on radio and television.
